The Screenwriters World Conference provides an innovative forum for both aspiring and professional writers to maximize their marketing and networking opportunities while furthering their creative education. The Screenwriters World Conference provides an innovative forum for both aspiring and professional writers with tracks suited for beginner to professional, to maximize their marketing and networking opportunities while furthering their creative education. The organizers of the conference will consistently develop the networking opportunities and educational line-ups, so attendees can come year after year and know the event will evolve to match their own creative growth. Jesse Douma of The Writers Store will act as chairperson for the conference.
As Chairperson, Douma is currently underway appointing an advisory committee, creating the programming, selecting speakers, and reviewing partnership opportunities. “It’s always been an ambition of The Writers Store to create a high-level conference with marketing and networking offerings that advance year after year to match the creative growth of attendees,” said Douma. “Now that we’re part of the F+W Media family, we have the resources to create the premier annual event in the screenwriting community.” The Writers Store was acquired by F+W Media, July 2011.
